Privacy Policy

Jury Fish is a mock-jury simulator for trial attorneys. This policy explains what we collect when you use it, how we use it, and who processes it on our behalf. The short version: we collect what we need to run your simulations and your account, we use trusted processors to do it, and your case files are never used to train AI models.
01Who this covers
This policy applies to www.juryfish.com and the Jury Fish web application — the landing pages, the simulator, accounts, and payments. It does not cover third-party sites we link to.
02What we collect
- Account details you give us at sign-up: name, email, phone, firm name, and state.
- Case content you enter to run a simulation — the facts, arguments, and notes in your case file, plus the reports generated from them.
- Usage & metering: your fish-food balance, the credits a run spends, and your transaction history.
- Payment records: what you bought and when. Card numbers are handled by Stripe — we never receive or store them.
- Technical data: a sign-in session cookie, and standard server logs (such as IP address) kept by our host for security and operation.
03How we use it
To run your simulations, create and secure your account, meter and refill fish food, process payments, send you sign-in codes and essential service messages, and keep the service working and safe. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.
04Who processes your data
We rely on a small set of processors to run Jury Fish. Each receives only what it needs for its job:

05Your case data & AI
The case text you seed is sent to Anthropic's Claude API to produce the deliberation and report. Anthropic does not use API inputs or outputs to train its models, and neither do we. We do not use your case files to train, fine-tune, or improve any model. The comparable-verdict lookups in the simulator draw only on public data — your case facts are never sent to those services.
06Case sharing
Sharing is off by default. If you create a share link for a finished case, anyone with that link can read that case and post comments — that's the point of the link. A separate management link lets you moderate or remove comments. Only share a link with people you intend to give access.
07Retention & deletion
We keep your account and cases until you ask us to delete them. Delete a case and its facts go with it. To close your account or request deletion of your data, email us at the address below. We retain the minimum payment and log records we're required to for tax, accounting, and security.
08Security
Access to stored data is restricted and served over encrypted connections. Payment card data never touches our servers. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information and limit who and what can reach it.
09Your choices
You can access and update your account details on your account page, sign out of your session, and request a copy or deletion of your data by email. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights (such as access, correction, or deletion) — email us and we'll honor applicable requests.
10Children
Jury Fish is a professional tool for attorneys and is not directed to anyone under 18. We don't knowingly collect information from children.
11Changes
We may update this policy as the product evolves. When we make material changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
